ATLANTA -- Internet Security Systems (ISS) (NASDAQ: ISSX - News) today announced new components for the ISS Managed and Monitored Firewall Service, further extending the company's leadership position in managed security services. Continuing to provide support for a wide variety of leading third-party firewalls, ISS has increased its managed firewall feature set and has developed a tiered service model to more heavily focus on the specific pricing and service requirements for small, medium and large enterprise organizations. Through this new pricing structure, customers can obtain managed firewall services starting as low as $300 a month.

ISS' Managed and Monitored Firewall Service provides 24/7/365 real-time management of firewalls, delivering customized protection at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions. ISS' vendor-neutral approach maximizes customers' existing investments, allowing them to leverage the technological innovations of their preferred firewall vendor, while experiencing the added efficiency and cost savings of ISS managed services. In addition to managing its own firewall offering, ISS also manages firewall products from Check Point, Cisco Systems and Juniper Network/NetScreen.

"Much of the market has maintained the status quo with managed firewall services that lack innovation and fail to meet customers' ever-changing needs," said Rick Miller, vice president of Managed Security Services at Internet Security Systems. "ISS is setting a new standard in the market by carefully tailoring our offerings for various-sized organizations."
