SURREY, U.K. -- Leading laser/IR optical wireless specialist Cablefree Solutions has been awarded ISO9001 accreditation in recognition of its leading-edge production capabilities and product quality assurance.

Cablefree's manufacturing facility at Hampton Hill near London, UK, incorporates all production aspects to Cablefree's family of optical wireless laser solutions, from CAD/CAM design and product development, to test and measurement, calibration, final assembly and quality control. In line with massive demand for the company's systems, Cablefree Solutions is currently undergoing a major expansion at the Hampton Hill site.

The award also coincides with a major distribution alliance to address the African wireless telecoms and networking/ISP markets, through the establishment of Cablefree Africa. More than 50 laser installations are currently active or being installed.
