TEHRAN -- The Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI), including both private sectors and the affiliate companies of the communicational ministry, will be attending the ITU Telecom World 2009 in Geneva from 5-9 October.

Mr. Zareian , Managing Director of TCI’S Public Relations announced that, all countries and vendors have been invited to attend the 2009 exhibition, especially all developing countries. More than 100 countries will be attending the event, where the Telecommunication Company of Iran and other affiliates of the ministry will be presenting Infrastructure Company, The RCRO and The Data Company as their representatives.

Iran’s target for this exhibition is to introduce all telecommunication capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, International Marketing in presenting technical and engineering services and also developing good relations with other countries, we are trying to create the conditions for new communicational use, Zareian added.

He then emphasised on the ministry’s and TCI’s interest in having a vigorous presence at the exhibition’s private sector, therefore both Taliya and Pishgamaneh Kavireh Yazd and other private companies will be present at the exhibition.

A forum will also be taking place with 995 registered from 92 countries ,where all the worldly senior directors gather for exchanging new ideas and capabilities , and so Iran will be perfectly performing all telecommunicational qualifications and aspects.

There will also be 20-30 professional communicational assemblies taking place, where all the necessities have been taken into consideration.

Zareian then said: we will be meeting the Secretary –General and the Deputy Secretary General of ITU , where also many sessions with operators ,vendors and R&D centers will be taking place.According to Dr. Zareians’ declarations, every three years at the ITU exhibition, Iran has had a major and active presentation. In 2003 Geneva, Iran attended as both visitor and exhibitor, where selecting a consultant for the second mobile operator could be named as that years performance.
