Google Adds to Ads Smarts

3:30 PM -- Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) clearly has itchy fingers: The online giant announced on its blog that it has made yet another strategic acquisition, this time of advertising content management specialist Teracent.

The online giant has announced a number of acquisitions lately, snapping up VoIP software firm Gizmo5 and mobile advertising player AdMob. (See Google Buys Again and Google Buys AdMob for $750M.)
