LONGMONT, Colo. -- Intrado Inc. (NASDAQ: TRDO), a global provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions and leading provider of VoIP 9-1-1 services, today announced agreements with three leading location determination technology vendors, Rosum Corporation, S5 Wireless, Inc. and Skyhook Wireless Inc. The agreements reflect the growing importance of location determination in VoIP E9-1-1 service delivery. Intrado will work with these companies to demonstrate a range of location determination solutions and their ability to integrate into Intrado® V9-1-1® Services.

“As VoIP moves towards fixed mobile convergence, location determination will become a fundamental component within the IP-enabled communications market,” said Stephen Meer, Intrado chief technology officer and co-founder. “Intrado continues to anticipate the needs of the VoIP E9-1-1 market and to make sure that we have the necessary solutions in place. The framework we are developing supports the continued progression of a more mobile-oriented VoIP solution that can be deployed with any device, in any location at any time.”

Intrado V9-1-1 Services is a proven and comprehensive E9-1-1 solution that allows VoIP service providers to support their increasingly mobile subscribers. By establishing these relationships, Intrado is leading early efforts to transcend the need for subscribers to self provision their location information and instead create an environment where communication devices can automatically determine their location for 9-1-1 call routing purposes
