But look at IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM). A report in Business Week talks about IBM's massive push into India, and a doubling of its workforce there to 53,000. Cisco, by contrast, has about 50,000 people total.
Sure, it's an obvious point that IBM is bigger than Cisco, but it's an interesting way to view the numbers. And I think it gives you a peek into the size of John Chambers' long-term (think decades) aspirations for Cisco.
