Based in San Diego, the company utilizes its imaging technology to develop software used to create booking and investigative tools, smart and secure identification documents, and software for professional photographers.ImageWare will deploy the SAVVIS network to initially link ImageWare offices in the U.S. and Canada. It will enable them to seamlessly and securely communicate over a private IP VPN supporting a broad range of ImageWare business applications including secure data transfers, file sharing, corporate intranet, accounting, e-mail and videoconferencing.Key elements in the contract award were SAVVIS' ability to deploy the network in just 30 days, and the ability to add Canadian connectivity seamlessly.
