SHENZHEN, China -- STS, the specialist communications and IT solutions company, has been appointed as a reseller of the Huawei Metro DWDM optical networking product range in the UK. This partnership will enable STS to offer large enterprise and corporate clients resilient and secure data and storage based solutions at competitive prices.

Huawei Technologies is one of the fastest growing telecommunication network solutions providers emerging from China. Huawei has aligned itself closely with STS in the delivery of managed optical network solutions to the corporate and large enterprise sector.

With the fast development of voice and data services, the demands for bandwidth in metropolitan area networks (MANs) are increasing dramatically. By adopting state-of-the-art CWDM/DWDM (Coarse/Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, Metro WDM systems provide the capacity and simple networking required for both existing and future services.
