ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- HarmonyCOM, an innovator in software for the provisioning of broadband services, announced today the release of Harmony 2.0. This latest version of Harmony has been designed to help service providers reduce operational costs, improve profitability, and more effectively deliver services. HarmonyCOM has incorporated new features to step-up the return and cost-savings service providers achieve by implementing automatic provisioning software. The latest version of Harmony offers increased ease-of-use, reduced learning time for end-users, and reduced implementation risk. Combined, these benefits allow service providers to reduce provisioning costs, and reduce time-to-market for new services. Harmony software works with multiple vendor platforms and technologies and can be implemented into a service provider's environment within 90 days.

"Market volatility - in conjunction with revenue losses caused by ineffective provisioning solutions - has prompted a shift in technology spending," said Paul McAfee, Chief Marketing Officer at HarmonyCOM. "Rather than continue to expand network capabilities, service providers are focusing on optimizing heavy investments in OSS systems to reduce costs and improve service delivery efficiencies."
