WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Greenwich Technology Partners (GTP) announced today its GTP Express Management Solutions (GEMS), a program to develop reference Operational Support System (OSS) solutions for managing popular network architectures. The suite of GEMS solutions is designed for service provider and large enterprise customers and utilizes leading third-party OSS software products. The first GEMS release provides a suite of management services for the leading network infrastructure architectures. It includes MPLS VPN provisioning, configuration, and fault and performance management based on products from leading OSS vendors such as Orchestream, Aprisma, Micromuse, Concord, Peregrine, Dorado and InfoVista. Additional solutions are planned for later in 2002.“Our goal is to accelerate our clients’ speed to market by reducing the risk and cost of deploying management systems,” said Daniel Lanzi, GTP’s Director of Technology. “The GEMS program leverages the network expertise and software integration capabilities of GTP’s consultants and engineers to create integrated solutions that can be deployed quickly.”GEMS was developed by a team of GTP consultants in the United Kingdom and the US, and a prototype version of this management solution is being demonstrated for clients in GTP's UK lab with a live MPLS-based network. Additional demonstrations are planned for North America in Q2 2002. Greenwich Technology Partners
