Calling card provider GlobalTel selects PhoenixSoft's CMS/2000 enhanced services software to provide prepaid functionality

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- PhoenixSoft, a leading software provider to the telecommunications industry since 1985, today announced that GlobalTel, a division of InterActive Media Technologies, and an international provider of prepaid telecom services, has contracted the company to provide its CMS/2000 enhanced services software as the platform for its international long distance network. GlobalTel, a leading provider of prepaid and postpaid international calling card services, offers origination and reorigination to and from over 60 countries. Currently running over 8 million minutes per month through its seven U.S. and Brazil-based POPs, GlobalTel has become one of the world's most prominent prepaid providers.
