Genius Sandwich

4:00 PM -- EuroBlog was in Nice, France, this week where we were catching up with the telecom software fraternity at the OSS-fest that is the annual Telemanagement World conference and exhibition. (See OSS News: A Death in the Family, SAP's Rising in OSS, and OSS Sizzles on French Riviera.)

As always, we attended the event's opening day address by TM Forum chairman Keith Willets, who this year decided to quote Albert Einstein (renowned genius), a genius of another kind, former U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and EuroBlog.

Einstein's thoughts were being repeated because, well, he is a genius. Rumsfeld was in the mix for his legendary "unknown unknows" speech.

But why was Willets quoting EuroBlog? Because he liked what we said in Turning Point for OSS so much, he nearly read out the entire article to a captive audience of hundreds.

"The cheque's in the post, Ray," he quipped at the end of his citation.

We'll let you know how much he sent if it ever arrives...
