Sprint to deliver the backbone for an extensive VPN, managed internally by Galaxy Scientific, connecting its offices nationwide

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Sprint (NYSE: FON - News, PCS - News) today announced that it has been selected to deliver essential new data services to Galaxy Scientific, one of the country's fastest-growing privately held companies and a major provider of technology innovations to the federal government. Sprint will deliver the backbone for an extensive Virtual Private Network (VPN), managed internally by Galaxy Scientific Corporation. Sprint will help connect Galaxy offices around the country and provides the Tier One network services Galaxy requires to meet the demands of its government and private sector customers.

Galaxy's main areas of activity include aircraft safety and airworthiness assurance; training; information technology and assurance; airport technology; airport security; communications, navigation, and surveillance; and airport design, development, construction, maintenance, and operation.
