UK telco Evoxus deploys Huawei for its VOIP network

READING, U.K. -- Uncontrollable and expensive telecoms costs, and poor bandwidth can now beconfined to the history books. Evoxus has today announced that, inpartnership with Huawei, it can now offer customers a unified, end-to-end,Voice over IP network.

Evoxus will be doubling the capacity of the existing Huawei SoftXinstallation at its Docklands site by installing an identical system at itsReading HQ. Furthermore, by deploying world leading ‘Dual Homing’ practiceacross the Reading and Docklands SoftX equipment, Evoxus will establish atthe core of its network a fully resilient two-site solution. Thiscombination of next generation datacoms based IP technology with interfacesback to the existing telephony world is the foundation of the company's corenetwork architecture for the years ahead.
