NORCROSS, Ga. -- ADVA Optical Networking announced today that Masergy, a global provider of secure, virtualized network services, is using theFSP 150 to deliver intelligent Ethernet services to its global enterprise customers. The FSP 150, featuring EtherjackTM technology, provides Masergy with comprehensive levels of service intelligence and end-to-end monitoring. These tools are critical in the delivery of differentiated carrier-grade Ethernet services and the proactive monitoring of the network to guarantee strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Including a range of remote Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) capabilities, the FSP 150 enables Masergy to test and resolve network issues throughout the network before they become service affecting.

“Delivering world class network services to enterprises requires access equipment that is highly reliable, flexible and efficient,” said Terry Traina, VP Engineering at Masergy. “Our customers transport mission-critical information across our network 24x7, so we can’t risk their business or our reputation on Ethernet access devices that have limited capabilities or deliver inconsistent performance. Our clients often require multiple VPN services on the same circuit to maximize network efficacy, so flexibility is a critical component of our service offerings. That is why we use ADVA Optical Networking’s FSP 150 to provide these rigorous global Ethernet services. The FSP 150 allows Masergy to standardize on a single access device to expedite service delivery while ensuring that we meet the strictest of SLAs.”
