The centerpiece of the two-day event, which is free to attend for service provider staff and enterprise users, is the Global Interconnect demonstration, the first of its kind. (See Ethernet Expo Europe Nears and LR, Iometrix Demo Ethernet Interconnect.)

There will also be a plethora of news announcements during the event, while some of the Expo's participants, such as ANDA Networks Inc. and EXFO (Nasdaq: EXFO; Toronto: EXF), have already unveiled their latest developments just ahead of the show. EuroBlog will be reporting from the event and pitching in with some video updates from the event, as well as sourcing the finest caffeine-related hot beverages and the coolest draught beer in the vicinity. Stay tuned!!
