EENY 2010: COLT Hooks Up to CENX

NEW YORK -- Ethernet Expo Americas 2010 -- Pan-European service provider Colt Technology Services Group Ltd has hooked up to CENX Inc. 's exchanges in London and New York so that it can provide its Carrier Ethernet services on a wholesale basis to other service providers in North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific.

Why it matters
CENX is one of a number of Carrier Ethernet exchange new entrants that are enabling service providers to interconnect in secure, managed environments. As more operators such as COLT connect to these exchanges, so the potential for significant growth in the Carrier Ethernet services market increases, bringing new business opportunities to the service providers and expanding the range of secure, service-level agreement-backed services available to enterprise users.
