Cloud Rolls In to Ethernet Europe
The first six of those topics can be found on the conference agenda, which features speakers from numerous European service providers and some of their key suppliers. The coffee comes from the silver bean-grinder of legendary barista and Light Reading legend Daisy Rollo, who will be making amazing cups of caffeine at the ADVA Optical Networking stand.
Daisy has been a regular on the telecom event scene for the past few years and will be in residence at the event next week. HURRAH! (See MWC 2011: Cool Beans!, Sun, Sand, SPIT & Software and BBWF's Liquid Gold.)
Daisy won't be the only star of the show, though as Etherman will also be there. You know you want one!! (See Etherman Hits Europe and Ethernet Europe Returns to London.)
If you can get past the coffee and caped dolls you'll find executives from AboveNet Inc. (NYSE: ABVT), BT Group plc (NYSE: BT; London: BTA), Cable & Wireless Worldwide plc (London: CW), Colt Technology Services Group Ltd , Global Crossing (Nasdaq: GLBC), Level 3 Communications Inc. (NYSE: LVLT), Tinet , Tata Communications Ltd. and Verizon Enterprise Solutions , among others, on stage. Check out the conference agenda right here. (See AboveNet Heads for Ethernet Europe and Tinet Rolls Out EtherCloud Coverage.)
There's also a session on MPLS-TP developments with Huub Van Helvoort, who is responsible for "OAM in Transport Networks" at the International Telecommunication Union, Standardization Sector (ITU-T) SG15, and an interconnect demo hosted by European Advanced Networking Test Center AG (EANTC) .
Hope to see you there!
