HERNDON, Va. -- CFN Services, a nationwide provider of telecom infrastructure services, today announced further expansion of its FiberSource(R) Planning Services. FiberSource(R) Advisor(TM) offers affordable access to one of the largest, most comprehensive infrastructure knowledge-bases in the telecom industry to support smaller carriers, as well as enterprise, government, and education clients with broadband fiber network planning, feasibility analysis, and sourcing.

"While the initial focus of our FiberSource(R) Planning service was on our large carrier and equipment vendor clients who have expansive needs for fiber networks and related planning," said Russell Logan VP of Professional Services for CFN, "we were seeing strong demand among smaller carriers and more traditional enterprises with a smaller base of complex requirements in a more limited set of markets. These clients don't need a broad subscription based product or have the ROI to pay five or six figures for a market based or nationwide data license. While our FiberSource(R) Site Review(TM) and Market Survey(TM) were addressing some of these needs, we saw an opportunity to bridge a gap in the market with FiberSource(R) Advisor(TM)."

For as little as $2,500 FiberSource(R) Advisor(TM) offers full access to FiberSource(R), the company's nationwide geospatial base of more than 220,000 fiber network route miles, 15,000 fiber-served buildings, 550 metro networks, 150,000 wireless towers, and more. FiberSource(R) Advisor(TM) includes a block of dedicated support from the company's planners who utilize state-of-the-art geographic information systems and network planning tools to support the specific requirements of one or more custom fiber network planning projects over a six month period. FiberSource(R) Advisor(TM) supports a range of requirements from broadband connectivity planning and transport cost optimization to fiber network feasibility studies, business case development, and sourcing.
