RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Overture Networks, a leading supplier of converged packet access solutions for Carrier Ethernet, has announced three new additions to its sales team to address the rapidly growing demand for the company’s award-winning product line. Stuart Foladare, Regional Vice President for Major Accounts, Jack Yocum, Regional Vice President for North American Sales and Hubert Gaertner, Accounts Director for Central and Eastern Europe, will play integral roles in expanding Overture Networks’ business as carriers worldwide look to leverage Carrier Ethernet to boost revenues and streamline costs.

Foladare, based in Richardson, Texas, will be primarily responsible for expanding Overture’s current business with one of its Tier-1 service provider accounts. With Overture’s product line addressing the access edge of the network over a variety of mediums, the ISG product family is fast becoming an attractive solution set for a wide range of global carrier applications. Foladare brings over 20 years of global experience in telecommunications sales, marketing and product management gained at companies such as DSC and Nortel.

Yocum, based in northern New Jersey, joins Overture Networks from Sylantro Systems, where he was responsible for acquiring and managing key accounts. Yocum brings 19 years of technology sales, management and marketing experience to Overture Networks, with a proven track record for facilitating profitable growth. At Overture, he will be responsible for managing the North American regional sales teams and spearheading new revenue opportunities as the Carrier Ethernet market continues to ramp up.

Gaertner, based in Germany, comes to Overture with over 25 years of technology marketing and sales experience, including a period as Lucent Technologies’ Carrier Ethernet Sales Director for Central and Eastern Europe. With strong business experience executing a wide range of sales and marketing strategies, Gaertner will be responsible for addressing the Central and Eastern European expansion of Overture’s business, as more carriers worldwide look to expand their Ethernet reach over fiber or copper networks.

“There is a growing global demand for customers looking for Carrier Ethernet services with full OAM capabilities, which Overture uniquely addresses with efficient multi-service solutions,” said Scott St. John, Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Service. “With our newest team members’ experience in the Ethernet market and high standards for customer satisfaction, we are poised to capitalize on market opportunities and enable our customers to develop profitable Ethernet services.”
