That puts the infrastructure vendor in quite a nice spot. Since it also has the lead in Long Term Evolution (LTE) equipment worldwide, Ericsson is primed to take advantage of helping operators unlock value from their mobile networks in terms of adding speed, but also in using policy, billing and applications in interesting ways.
