LONDON -- Easynet, the pan-European Broadband provider for business, today launched e-WAN, the first truly pan-European MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) VPN solution, based on Broadband. Easynet's ability to offer broadband across eight European countries, e-WAN provides customers with a fully managed, MPLS VPN (Virtual Private Network) service including Service Level Agreements as standard, offering a manageable, consistent and cost-effective alternative to other VPN solutions available today. In addition to connectivity over Broadband, e-WAN offers 'any to any connectivity' from simple dial-up, broadband or leased lines for the access technology. The fully managed service provided with e-WAN includes installation, CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) support, maintenance, fault management and monitoring. e-WAN is available across Easynet's European network, which covers the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland and offers both single user and network access, enabling different access technologies to be employed within the same VPN. Due to the infrastructure of Easynet's Broadband pan-European network, e-WAN offers customers a consistent service wherever they need their VPN to reach.
