LONDON -- Pan-European corporate networking company Easynet is addressing growing customer expansion by extending its next generation network to China. Easynet, a British Sky Broadcasting company is providing a seamless MPLS network between Europe and the Far East, with CPCNet Hong Kong as its strategic partner.

Western firms are feeling pressure to reduce costs and increase profitability. This is leading to an increasing interest in emerging economies, where costs are lower and regulation lighter. Easynet, with a clear understanding of its customers and their specific business drivers, selected CPCNet, the first communications and network solution provider to launch an MPLS VPN service in China.

David Rowe, Easynet’s chief executive officer, said: “China provides untapped territory with fantastic potential for many Western firms. We are seeing more and more of our customers – particularly in the Manufacturing sector - drawn by the region’s low production costs, and requiring advanced networks to support their business’ growth. Working with CPCNet Hong Kong enables us to offer our customers a secure, reliable global end-to-end solution.”

Chris Green, Vice President Europe for CPCNet Hong Kong Ltd, said: “Businesses no longer have time for the complexities of managing multiple network suppliers. They want one universal network, and one contact, to drive their business forward and help them achieve their objectives – which often relate to global expansion. Easynet has evolved from providing this on a European basis, to offering this as a global solution – always backed up with outstanding customer care. It’s a highly compelling offering”.
