Redcell Network Services -- Juniper Edition (RNS-JE) is packaged to provide complete access to and control of Juniper Networks (Nasdaq: JNPR - News) E-, M-, and T- series routing platforms through its sophisticated graphically driven applications.

Dorado's RNS-JE provides management and control functions necessary to ensure the delivery of mission-critical services traversing a Juniper Networks-based network infrastructure. These functions include discovery, network resource inventory, topology, alarm monitoring and OSS integration.

The network discovery feature, when used in conjunction with the network inventory functions, provides comprehensive visibility and control of Juniper Networks infrastructure resources. Discovery accesses Juniper Networks equipment and displays chassis information with interface card and port level views. Discovery also augments this information with a display of routing protocols and VPNs in use as well as the JUNOS and JUNOSe version numbers associated with each device. This information is then synchronized with the network inventory database to provide a complete picture of valuable network resources.

Topology and alarm monitoring provide a view of the network and its performance characteristics. Topology views can be geographical or logical. The logical views use information gathered by discovery functions and housed in the network inventory database to display devices down to PIC and port levels with zoom functions. Geographical views provide network administrators a topological network perspective showing device linkages, and valuable alert and alarm information. Alarm monitoring provides administrator flexibility for viewing and managing Juniper Networks-specific device event information.

Dorado recognizes that it is critical to combine the specific device information delivered by RNS-JE with other critical network management resources such as order-entry, billing and other network management applications. Because of this, Dorado provides easy-to-use interfaces to these systems.
