ROSKILDE, Denmark -- Digiquant, a global supplier of software solutions for the communications industry, announced today that Zajoul for Advance Communications Technology (ZACT) is using its Internet Management System (IMS) to differentiate itself in the highly fragmented and competitive Saudi Arabian market where the annual growth rate for Internet usage is nearly 300%. Zajoul was the first Saudi company licensed to offer prepaid telecommunication services to its customers, and serves the largest share of the prepaid telecommunications market with its prepaid cards.

The flexibility of IMS enables Zajoul to consolidate its many brands and billing items onto a single billing platform while still retaining the distinctive branding. Zajoul currently distributes its prepaid cards through 35,000 outlets.

“Digiquant’s IMS solution far exceeded our expectations. IMS indeed provided out-of-the-box support for Zajoul’s Internet dial-up card business, but it also gave Zajoul a foundation for evolving our service offerings as the market changes. It allows Zajoul to compete based on new parameters and to take customer service to new levels,” said Abedulfattah Awajah, Internet Director for Zajoul.

Leveraging the multi-service capabilities of the IMS platform, Zajoul can further differentiate itself with new offerings, such as value-added content, IP VPN, or voice in both prepaid and postpaid models. These services can be launched quickly and managed cost-effectively from the existing IMS platform.

“Zajoul joins a significant list of operators and providers who have selected Digiquant’s IMS solution. Digiquant is an established presence in the Middle East, and IMS has proven its capabilities repeatedly,” said Colin Murray, SVP of Digiquant.
