CoSine Introduces Services Switch

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- CoSine Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: COSN), a leading provider of network-based IP Service Delivery Platforms, introduced today the IPSX 3500 Service Processing Switch, the newest addition to the IPSX family of service processing switches. With an 8-slot footprint, the IPSX 3500 is optimized to drive service delivery closer to the subscriber through deployment in the Service Provider's local/metro network.

"CoSine specifically designed the IPSX 3500 to provide a cost-effective and powerful solution for Service Providers that want to accelerate the delivery of value-added IP services to business subscribers outside of areas served by the larger POPs," said Dean Hamilton, president and CEO at CoSine. "As the business demand for network-based IP services increases, Service Providers want a flexible solution that can give them a critical first-mover advantage, while still driving profitability."
