HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- Core Networks, the leader in cable OSS solutions, announced today it has added two members to its senior management team, with Jeff Jarvis joining as Chief Operating Officer and Cynthia Villanueva as Director of Marketing Communications. Both assumed their respective positions on October 1st, and are a part of Core Networks’ ongoing drive to augment its management team. The two join Core Networks CEO Craig Soderquist in the new California executive headquarters.“I’m delighted to have Jeff and Cindy join the Core Networks management team,” commented Soderquist. “I have worked closely with both of them in the past, and know their professionalism and experience will enhance Core’s ability to succeed in a very competitive market.”Jarvis, until recently Chief Operating Officer of Com21, Inc., reports directly to Soderquist. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Com21’s Network Systems Division. Prior to joining Com21, Jarvis was Vice President of Operations for NetSchools Corporation, where he led professional services, customer service, field systems integration, and supply chain partner management. Previous positions include Vice President and General Manager of Mosaix, Inc., as well as managerial positions with Sequent Computer Systems and IBM. Jarvis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology and an MBA.Villanueva, also a Com21 veteran, reports to Jarvis, and will lead the marketing communications efforts for Core. Previously Director of Corporate Marketing at Com21, she has also served in marketing management with Seiko Instruments USA, and as Director of Education for two US nonprofit agencies.
