LOS GATOS, Calif. -- Coaxsys Incorporated, makers of the #1 deployed IPTV network, today announced that it has moved its headquarters but will remain in Los Gatos, California. The company, which recently launched cable- and satellite-compatible high-speed home networking products, has considerably ramped up production of its TVnet products to meet increasing customer and distributor demands.

The new office has an expanded bay for shipping and receiving that will enable the coaxial networking company to test and ship thousands of units daily. And, according to company sources, Coaxsys will need the additional space: It is in the process of bringing aboard a considerable number of personnel in engineering, sales, and marketing.

Coaxsys CEO Michael D'Addio noted that the company's move is symptomatic of market demand: "Our successful CableNet product demonstration this past weekend [at the NCTA National Show in San Francisco] brought a continuation of what we have been seeing for months-considerable interest in our current and future products. Our telco solution has quickly become the #1 deployed IPTV network, and we are already receiving demands for our new cable and satellite products. Our new space will enable us to meet the production, testing, shipping, and support needs of these markets-as well as move forward with licensing agreements to allow equipment manufacturers to design TVnet into their products. All in all, this is a very exciting time for our company."
