Cisco Field 2012

NOON -- Put those Cisco Field ticket plans on hold for a year. The probable Oakland A's move to Fremont, which would of course be the whole reason for building the 32,000-seat stadium, won't happen until 2012 or later, the team is now saying.

It's not really a delay, but a more realistic timeline for the usual environmental-assessments dance.

Part of the difficulty is that the project includes residences, shops, and a school, items that go well beyond the Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) dream park.
