Cingular Wireless launches streaming video-on-demand service; announces agreement with Music Choice and Warner Music Group to offer music videos

ATLANTA -- Cingular Wireless today announced the immediate availability of Cingular Video on-demand streaming video service with a large selection of popular mobile content. Consumers can now watch video clips of their favorite television shows, sports, news and weather, entertainment and premium content on their high-speed 3G capable Cingular phones.

Demand for wireless video and other data services continues to grow with the proliferation of wireless broadband networks. To provide a personalized, more complete video experience, Cingular Wireless has partnered with leading media and entertainment brands for the most sought-after mobile content today's consumers already enjoy in their daily lives.

NEW YORK -- Music Choice, the premier music network that reaches millions of music fans nationwide, announced today an agreement with Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG) to offer Cingular Wireless customers access to a diverse selection of the global music company's music videos and artist interviews from R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Pop music recording artists. The Music Choice offering will feature a streaming music video-on-demand service that allows customers to continuously watch a variety of pre-selected music videos from WMG artists over a 24-hour period. Music videos from Warner Music Group's world-renowned roster of artists, including James Blunt, Missy Elliott, R.E.M., Green Day, Laffy Taffy, Sean Paul, Daniel Powter, and many more will be featured on the service. All CINGULAR VIDEO customers will have access to this unique service.
