Kearney, one of the world's largest management consulting firms, is leveraging Check Point's Total Access Protection (TAP) strategy to defend all of its network-connected PCs and ensure endpoints -- employee and guest, remote and internal, wired and wireless -- are safeguarded regardless of location, ownership or connection method.

A.T. Kearney employs more than 2,500 consultants in 36 countries who tackle the most intractable problems on CEO agendas, so secure, timely access to A.T. Kearney network resources from client locations is paramount to the success of its consultants. In addition, some consultants require an SSL VPN connection to access the network from client locations.

TAP provides a security policy enforcement framework for heterogeneous networks to secure all PCs from the risks of hackers, targeted attacks, spyware and malicious code. All PCs must comply with enterprise access policies before connecting to the network.

To achieve its security goals, A.T. Kearney uses Check Point's TAP strategy via the Integrity(TM) endpoint security solution to prevent intrusions, block outbound threats and enforce access policies. They also use Connectra(TM), a complete Web security gateway with integrated endpoint security, to defend against insecure endpoints and provide protection against malicious activities and attacks over an SSL VPN. TAP strengthens policy enforcement across A.T. Kearney's network by extending cooperation between Integrity and Connectra to inspect the endpoint before an SSL VPN session login.
