AURORA, Ill. -- Westell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTL), an international systems developer and manufacturer of high-speed broadband/DSL and VoIP technology access products announced today that British Telecom (BT) Wholesale Markets have included Westell’s extensive range of DSL modems and routers in their new ‘eCatalogue’ for Service Providers buying from BT Wholesale.

BT Wholesale can now provide more of a "one-stop-shop" for companies wishing to offer Internet broadband services to enterprise, SOHO and residential customers.

"This is a major achievement for Westell given the very important role that BT Wholesale is playing in the expansion of broadband use in the United Kingdom" said David McKeigue, Managing Director, Westell Limited located in Basingstoke, UK. "Our wide range of products – from basic high speed DSL access modems to high performance DSL dual connect routers with wireless support - means that we can satisfy the demands of the wide variety of service providers that come to BT for complete solutions for their own end users," McKeigue added.

As part of the launch of this initiative, Westell Limited is running a campaign targeted at Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to make them aware of Westell’s significant stature as one of the world’s largest suppliers of broadband access products. Entitled "Want more from Broadband?" the program explains how Westell’s technology innovations such as TurboTCPTM can provide the most demanding of broadband users with higher quality performance.

Westell’s product portfolio in the BT eCatalogue is made up of the LitelineTM (basic high speed DSL access), ProLineTM (full-feature DSL access) and UltraLineTM (integrated DSL modem-router for multi-user environments) products. The new VersalinkTM Gateway, which includes wired, wireless and fiber access, will complete the offering.
