PALO ALTO, Calif. -- NARUS Inc., the world's largest developer of business infrastructure systems and software solutions for broadband, hosting, transport and mobile Internet service providers, has announced that Broadnet will deploy NARUS decision support and billing mediation solutions across its pan-European network. Broadnet, a supplier of high-speed broadband wireless Internet access and tailored e-business solutions to entrepreneurs, will apply NARUS' solutions in the development of new services. The agreement with Broadnet is one of a series of contracts that NARUS has concluded in Europe as a result of the rising demand among service providers for infrastructures designed to improve the profitability of their businesses.

The NARUS Internet Business Infrastructure (IBI) collects data without impeding network traffic and provides Broadnet with detailed, real-time information about how customers use its services. Thanks to IBI, Broadnet can analyse this information and use it to develop new services and detailed invoices based on the actual use of the network to provide differentiated and qualitative services. The agreement between NARUS and Broadnet is part of the general move by service providers to invest in technology in order to improve the measurability and profitability of their networks. Other major European players such as BT Ignite and ONO have also recently decided to implement NARUS solutions.
