CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Brix Networks (www.brixnet.com), the trusted provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) performance management solutions, today announced it has joined Cedar Point Communications' ServiceClass(TM) Partner's Program.

As part of this initiative, the two organizations have also conducted interoperability tests between Brix Networks' BrixWorx(TM) VoIP assurance software, the company's Brix 100(TM) Verifier, and Cedar Point's SAFARI C3(TM) Media Switching System.

Cedar Point's ServiceClass Partner's Program helps accelerate revenue growth opportunities for cable operators by bringing together "best-in-class" voice products and services from technology leaders into a set of standards-based, packaged solutions.

Brix offerings allow cable operators to continually monitor and manage the quality and reliability of VoIP calls along with the overall performance of their IP backbone networks, resulting in lower operating expenses, reduced subscriber churn, and additional revenue.

An integrated voice and multimedia switching system, SAFARI C3 simplifies the complexity of delivering VoIP services over Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) networks, and is specifically designed to meet the telephony and broadband media needs of cable system operators in a cost-effective manner.
