SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Brix Networks (www.brixnet.com), the trusted provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) performance management and service assurance solutions, today unveiled TestYourVideo.com, a free, self-service, testing portal that enables users to independently measure the quality they are receiving from their interactive or streaming IP-based video services.

Available now at www.TestYourVideo.com, this new service was announced on the opening day of the Spring 2005 Voice On The Net (VON) Conference & Expo being held here at the San Jose Convention Center, March 7-10, where Brix is exhibiting in booth 1133.

TestYourVideo.com is a companion site to Brix Networks’ one-year-old, highly popular (more than six million visitors to date), TestYourVoIP.com voice quality portal. This new site was launched in response to users who have also asked for help in diagnosing a variety of common IP video quality problems, such as video content that appears blurry, freezes repeatedly, or looks blocky.

TestYourVideo.com helps subscribers and service providers determine whether the source of user problems can be attributed to video end point or player capabilities, configuration issues, or impairments within a provider’s network.

Similar to its related TestYourVoIP.com site, the new TestYourVideo.com portal provides total service testing across all the areas that impact a user’s experience: signaling quality, delivery quality, and overall video session quality.
