NEW YORK -- Band-X today announced the extension of its IP Routed service with the addition of 10 new access points in the New York area. Buyers and sellers of IP transit can now connect to the unique Band-X Routed platform at 60 Hudson Street within days from any of the new access points. Customers are able to take advantage of the revolutionary service offerings that include quality monitoring and the flexibility to choose from multiple IP transit suppliers. Band-X Routed is a Cisco powered platform that offers service providers the ability to buy IP transit from multiple providers through one interconnection point. "Our buyers wanted a simple and informed buying process, while suppliers wanted to prove their network worth. As a neutral service provider, Band-X is uniquely positioned to independently monitor quality and price of suppliers' networks while providing a flexible purchasing model for buyers and sellers," said Joe Kiaer, executive vice president of Band-X USA. "With the addition of these new access points buyers are able to provision circuits quickly and cost effectively, and take full advantage of the service and quality our IP platform offers."
