AT&T, Siebel Systems to collaborate on delivering managed services and eBusiness applications

BEDMINSTER, N.J. and SAN MATEO, Calif. -- AT&T (NYSE: T) and Siebel Systems (NASDAQ: SEBL) today announced a strategic alliance that will deliver end-to-end, managed solutions to businesses implementing mission-critical eBusiness applications. The alliance unites industry leaders enabling the delivery of Siebel eBusiness Applications over a world-class Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, managed and provided by AT&T, the world’s networking company.This alliance will make it easier for customers to implement Siebel Systems’ leading eBusiness Applications by leveraging AT&T's networking and application performance management services, thus ensuring a powerful and secure environment to capitalize on the benefits of a world-class distributed customer relationship management (CRM) application.AT&T and Siebel will market and sell complementary services to a focused set of customers to maximize their return on investment. Customers implementing Siebel eBusiness Applications will have increased flexibility as a result of leveraging AT&T's world-class networking and application performance management services to optimize their network infrastructure or to migrate their deployments to a secure-hosted and managed infrastructure. The two companies also will work together to create a center of excellence where they can demonstrate the benefits of end-to-end managed solutions with mission critical applications.
