AT&T Shuffles Execs

8:45 AM -- AT&T has reshuffled its executive deck, according to a Financial Times report this morning that Unstrung has confirmed.

Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO of AT&T's mobile business, will now also be in charge of the telco's fixed-line consumer business, in a shift that signals a more earnest endeavor into fixed/mobile convergence services. In other changes, Ron Spears, president of global business services, will be responsible for small business customers in the U.S.; John Stankey will become chief executive of technology operations; and Ray Wilkins stays in charge of the diversified businesses unit and international operations.
