ORLAND PARK, Ill. -- Andrew Corporation (Nasdaq: ANDW - News), whose businesses include the world's leading independent supplier of Radio Frequency (RF) power amplifiers, today announced that it has signed a new RF power amplifier supply agreement with Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - News). The agreement announced today replaces an existing arrangement originally entered into by Lucent and Celiant Corporation, which Andrew acquired in June 2002. The new agreement maintains in aggregate, the original contract value of Lucent's estimated purchases from Celiant, while extending the term for purchases from Andrew to the end of fiscal year 2006. As in the agreement with Celiant, Lucent will award Andrew a percentage of its requirements for its RF power amplifier business on an annual basis through September 2006.
