Alcatel to use MontaVista Linux Carrier Grade Edition for next-generation telecommunications products

PARIS -- Alcatel (Paris:CGEP.PA)(NYSE:ALA - News) and MontaVista Software, Inc., the company powering the embedded revolution, today announced the signing of a major multi-year corporate contract for MontaVista(TM) Linux (R)Carrier Grade Edition, an industry standard Linux platform for telecommunications applications.
