AlcaLu's Video Nasty

7:30 AM -- It's already well known that the world's video sharing Websites house all sorts of esoteric video content -- but it's still amazing what can turn up.

Only yesterday we noted that French carrier Neuf Cegetel Group (Euronext: NEUF) had created a new IPTV channel based on content from user-generated video site Dailymotion. (See Neuf Digs User Video.)

And guess what you can find on Dailymotion? Video footage of union activists disrupting last June's Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) shareholders' meeting in Paris. You can view the video by clicking on this link.

The protesters make such a noise that AlcaLu chairman Serge 'The Merge' Tchuruk is forced to interrupt his speech, and eventually, in an effort to shut them up, a microphone is handed to the protesters so they can read out their complaints about the merger fallout to the entire gathering.

The only thing that's missing is a pile of burning tyres.
