On network equipment testing services to accelerate deployment of next-generation networks

PALO ALTO, Calif., and WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) and Greenwich Technology Partners (GTP), a leading network infrastructure consulting and engineering company, today announced an agreement focused on offering service providers and large enterprises independent testing and evaluation services to speed deployment of next-generation networks. Under the agreement, Agilent and GTP will work together to create and deliver multi-vendor tests and analyses focused on the key technology architecture, interoperability, and deployment issues facing service providers building next-generation networks. “Service providers face an increasingly complex array of investment choices in building their networks and service offerings,” said Bill Wood, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Advanced Networks Division. “This agreement allows service providers to leverage the combined expertise of GTP and Agilent to improve the quality of information available for technology and equipment evaluation and selection."Agilent Technologies Inc.
