PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the comprehensive network analyzer Agilent Advisor E-series, a faster and more cost-efficient monitoring platform, designed to simplify network troubleshooting. The Advisor E series, part of the award-winning Agilent Advisor family, incorporates Packet over SONET, High Speed V-Series Interface, Mobile-IP (3.5G) and enhanced software capabilities. The Advisor E-series offers users new benefits such as the ability to monitor and perform protocol analysis on services running Packet over SONET/SDH across access and core networks, thereby providing customers faster and more flexible technology. It provides full rate capture of both directions of a PoS connection at the interface rate of 155 Mb/s for SONET OC-3 and SDH STM-1 framing."These technological advancements will help Agilent meet the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting needs of customers who operate increasingly complex networks in a rapidly evolving environment" said Steve Witt, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Network Systems Test Division.
