MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2004--ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) today introduced its new Ethernet Test Access Panel, the company's most recent addition to its IP Infrastructure portfolio. The Ethernet Test Access Panel provides carriers and enterprises a non-invasive method to test and monitor the delivery of critical data services over Ethernet cabling, up to and including Gigabit Ethernet.

Leveraging more than two decades of expertise providing test access solutions for digital signal cross connect (DSX) systems, ADC's patent-pending design features standard RJ45 interfaces in a high-density 24-port, two-rack-space-high patch panel with a make-before-break (MBB) connector in-line with the Ethernet circuit. A number of value added modules can be inserted into the MBB connector including a "look both ways" test access cord with a standard RJ45 output that can be plugged into any standard Ethernet test set, sniffer-, or intrusion detection system (IDS).
