MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT - News; www.adc.com) announced today that it is expanding its billing and customer care operations in Bangalore, India. Designed to establish a center of excellence, this strategic expansion will not only support ADC's increasing customer base in the country, but will also reinforce its commitment to its growing partner operations both in India and the surrounding Asia Pacific region. Building on its successful relationship with Reliance Infocomm, ADC has identified India as one of the fastest growing markets in billing and customer care applications and will use this expansion as a catalyst to increasing its skills base and services in the region. "The initiative generated interest beyond our expectations and we were impressed with the high calibre of skilled engineers who expressed their interest in our efforts," said Bernie Woodcroft, vice president of consulting services in the Asia Pacific region for ADC's Software Systems Business Unit. Tapping into this proficiency gives ADC the opportunity to create a world-class center of excellence for billing. "The success of Singl.eView(TM) and our other OSS products has generated a lot of enthusiasm in India and throughout the region, and this office will allow us to better serve our customers," Woodcroft said.
