WOBURN, Mass. -- Acme Packet(TM) today announced it has formed a systems integration and distribution partnership with Soluziona's Telecommunications division. Under the terms of the agreement, Soluziona, one of Spain's most successful telecommunications systems developers and integrators, will supply Acme Packet's Net-Net(TM) family of session border controllers to the Spanish service provider market.

Soluziona, the Madrid-based professional services arm of Union Fenosa - Spain's third-largest electric utility - has a significant presence in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and Tunisia as well as Asia, Europe and Africa, thanks to its extensive international network. This relationship with Soluziona expands Acme Packet's reach in the European telecommunications market, a high-growth region for IP communications services. For Soluziona, a company with extensive knowledge and experience in telecom and Internet technologies and with a strong commitment to innovation, Acme Packet's Net-Net session border controllers are a welcome addition to its networking portfolio.
