VANCOUVER -- 360networks today announced the appointment of Vanessa Wittmanas the company’s chief financial officer. Larry Olsen, formerly chieffinancial officer and vice-chairman, will continue as the company’svice-chairman focusing on strategic relationships and partnerships.Starting today, Wittman is responsible for the company’s financialstrategy, planning, funding, assets, budgeting and reporting. Previously,she was vice-president of corporate development, overseeing the company’scorporate investments and acquisitions. Working closely with the financedivision, Wittman played a key role in the acquisitions of GlobeNetCommunications and NetRail, Inc., as well as investments by Alcatel andother strategic investors.
