Re: Soda
I know a couple of people who bring their own coffee-making equipment when they travel.

How strange... Is this a casualty of the latest Bay Area war on things people like? Or perhaps it was a ploy to get you to buy overpriced stuff at the Convention Center?

Depending on the venue, I've taken to often bringing a can of Diet Coke from home when I go to local conferences. Sometimes, there is nothing to drink so the convention-center coffee shop/food stand can get you for $4+ per beverage. Other times, convention centers around these parts may favor Diet Pepsi -- which I disfavor.

Grab and go
I'm interested in the Grab n Go Chromebook program. I'm really curious to see how it works out for the education system. I suspect schools who have signed up for Microsoft 365 will have to pass on Chromebooks due to contract restrictions in Microsoft service contract.
