Re: Ah... I already covered this... 2 years ago? Happened to run across this old post by accident. Had not seen Randy Bias comment on the article. I am honored that Randy and I came to the same conclusion, even if it was 2 years later and OpenStack still needed to do it.

Open question Recent Heavy Reading research indicates that CSPs do see considerable value in OpenStack, but most of them are planning to follow their vendors' leads in implementation. So maybe the tried-and-true vendor-led consortium approach isn't so bad after all.
