WARREN, N.J. -- Virgin Mobile USA today unveiled an important update to its seasoned leadership roster, naming industry veteran Susan Brazer as vice president of Virgin Mobile's Corporate Development team. Brazer will manage the strategic direction of new businesses and revenue streams, from conception through to partnership development and execution. Two initiatives on which she will focus include SugarMama, Virgin Mobile's innovative advertising platform that lets customers choose to watch ads and earn airtime; and Stash, Virgin Mobile's branded pre-paid credit card.

"Susan has a very broad and strong background ranging from global business development to wireless corporate development," said Howard Handler, chief marketing officer for Virgin Mobile USA. "There's no doubt her vision -- and track record -- for spotting and leveraging new opportunities will contribute tremendously to our continued growth."

Previously, Brazer was president of LionShare Media International, which develops go-to-market strategies for new mobile, broadband and broadcast entertainment services. Prior to this, Brazer served as executive vice president, business development for KirchMedia's Prisma iVentures, which incubated wireless and digital sports ventures for the World Cup; and senior vice president, marketing and network development for Viacom, responsible for launching digital TV services in the Middle East and Africa including MTV, VH1, The Movie Channel, Paramount, Nickelodeon and Discovery.
